Faith comes by Hearing Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.MK 11:22 "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23 "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, `Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins. "HEB 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. ISA 40:31 but those who hope in the LORDwill renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. MT 9:22 Jesus turned and saw her. "Take heart, daughter," he said, "your faith has healed you." And the woman was healed from that moment. Sometimes it is difficult to hold onto your faith ~ sometimes situations hit you and you feel that you are at your very own Red Sea and it appears that there is no where to go. When that happens "GO UP, LOOK UP" and take God out of the passenger seat and put him in the driving seat. You see Jeremiah 29:11 tells us For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. This one Scripture is the scripture that I turn to every time the going gets tough. This is my foundation scripture that confirms that God is with me at all times. What is your foundation scripture? Another scripture that is powerful in my life is
ISA 54:17 no weapon forged against you will prevail,and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
No weapon that is formed against me shall prosper - what is a weapon? - it could be amongst others verbal and financial and as Isaiah says 'that any tongue that shall speak against you will be silenced'
Yes, we all make mistakes Yes, we all fall short in a relationship with God Yes, we all try to be the driver and control and manipulate our situations
Whatever faith you need right now ~ find a scripture that speaks right into your spirit and hold onto it. You may have money put aside for a rainy day ~ well knowing scriptures off by heart and having them ready for all circumstances is like having money in the bank for a rainy day. Tap into Gods promises account ~ for if you have the faith - he has a promise
